our mission
The mission of New Life Church is to join Jesus in Bringing the Kingdom of God.
The church’s mission in the world is not accomplished alone, and began over two thousand years ago when Jesus introduced God’s kingdom on earth. The kingdom of God is a place where God not only reigns, but lives are turned upside-down. The weak are strong, the last are first, the poor rich, the lame walk, the blind see, the selfish serve.
Bringing about this kingdom in our world is a difficult task that includes spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental transformation of all people. It corrects injustices in our community. It breaks down the barriers of division. In the kingdom of God, He reigns and the world is a radically different place.
This kingdom cannot be brought about without the work and help of Jesus who began it. Therefore, this statement includes our reliance upon Him to bring about this unique, powerful, God-intended life “on earth as it is in heaven.”
