Meet our ministry staff -- Damon Parker & Brad Carter
Brad Carter
Minister
Brad has a B.A. in Youth & Family Ministry and a Master of Arts in Religion from Abilene Christian University. Prior to working for New Life, he directed Chapel Programs at ACU for three years. Brad also interned at Southern Hills Church of Christ in the university ministry while attaining his degrees.
Brad and his wife Rachael married in 2001. Rachael is a stay-at-home mom with their daughters, Ellianna and Caroline.
Damon Parker
Minister
Damon completed a B.S. in ministry and a Master of Divinity from Abilene Christian University. As a dedicated staff member for the inner-city ministry, he has seen it grow from an outreach children’s ministry to a neighborhood church.
Recruited to teach in the outreach youth ministry by Melody Moore, Damon preached by default the first Sunday of New Life in 1997. Hired a few months later, Damon has been a full-time minister at New Life ever since.
Damon married Melody a few months after the church was planted. Melody stays at home with their four children: Grant, Madelyn, Jackson and Logan.
